All-steel screw clamps are significantly more resilient than die-cast screw clamps. They allow clamping forces of up to 6000 Newton. In contrast to malleable cast iron clamps, which allow similar high forces but clamp rigidly, all-steel screw clamps clamp the workpieces flexibly and elastically.
Bessey offers all-steel screw clamps in several handle variants. We have the variants with the tried and tested wooden handles, those with ergonomic 2-component plastic handles and the flexible variant with folding handle. The handle can be folded down to achieve greater force through leverage when tightening or to be able to turn it in places that are difficult to access.
