Lever clamps have several advantages over conventional screw clamps: they can be clamped more quickly, and even the Bessey lever clamp classiX standard variant GSH develops a higher clamping force than comparable screw clamps. The clamps in the GH series allow even higher clamping forces thanks to the optimised rail profile, especially when the clamping width is fully utilised.
When fastening jigs and fixtures to stationary machines and workbenches, you should use lever clamps because they do not come loose due to vibration. Clamps for guide rails should also be used for guide rails for hand-held circular saws, hand-held routers and other power tools for this reason.
For clamping delicate materials, plastic and wood, we recommend the very light Bessey KliKlamp clamps made of magnesium with lower but precisely adjustable clamping pressure.
