These Famag twist drills are made of high quality HSS. The spirals are ground into the hardened blank and thus originates the well-known material indication HSS-G, which is rare in drill bits for wood.
Due to fully ground head geometry, high-precision drilling can be realized. The deep hole spiral, which is also fully ground, guarantees a rapid chip ejection and an exceptionally long service life of the tool. The two cutting spur edges produce drilling patterns of highest quality.
The drills of this series are perfectly suited for applications in hard and hardest woods and board materials.
