Insert the pencil into the center hole, rotate the template so that the guide posts touch the material, then draw the line. To mark an offset, use the template on one of the flat sides and then select the desired offset depth.
The offset ranges from 1.587 mm (1/16") to 15.875 mm (5/8")
Recesses for the offset markings allow you to draw or scribe off-center lines
