What is the Ball Gouge by Arbortech?
The Ball Gouge from Arbortech is a spherical shaped grinder attachment for 115 mm and 125 mm angle grinders, as well as the Power Carving Unit. The Ball Gouge is used for these jobs:
- For hollow, small, concave surfaces
- Lot of design possibilities, e.g. dots, grooves and patterns
- Example projects: Wooden spoons and small bowls

The Ball Gouge ball chisel attachment creates a mealy texture on the wood surface. For sculpting projects in hardwood, the meißel is ideally suited.
The handling
Für the application of the Ball Gouge is fine fühl benötigt. Before the final use, you should üben holding the ball at the correct angle. When unhooking workpieces, an angle of 30° is recommended.
The material removal
When hollowing out with the Ball Gouge, a depth of 5 cm to 7 cm can be processed. Many chips are produced during application, but no particulate matter.
