Difference between raw and anodized aluminum 

Our sauter aluminum profile rails are available in two versions: raw and anodized. Anodized aluminum C-profiles offer the following advantages over the inexpensive raw version:

  • Additional surface coating or protective layer 
  • Improved sliding properties 
  • Protection against corrosion

To ensure that the milled groove and the aluminum profile rail are optimally compatible, we recommend the rails with groove cutter and countersink in a set.
