• With left-hand twist, the upper groove edges are cut particularly cleanly.
• Cutters with right-hand twist ensure a very clean groove base and good chip ejection.

Typical applications of router bits with 3 mm shank

Bits with spiral flutes can be used in the CNC router to machine wood and other materials, to cut lettering (for example, when making signs) and to perform other special tasks. 

If you do not have a CNC machine, you can also cut fonts with the router. For this, it is best to use a routing template with suitable cutters.
