Bead Cutters - Concave & Convex Radius

The two carbide-tipped rounding cutters can be used individually to profile edges: e.g. to round off table tops and shelves (convex) or to cut recessed handles in drawers or furniture doors (concave). Their joint use to make furniture shutters with the router is particularly interesting. The upper and lower edges of the slats are each machined with one of the two cutters so that the edges interlock in the finished roller shutter and enable it to be rolled up.
