Replacement Blades
It is worthwhile to use router bits with replaceable knives for frequent work with routers. If a replaceable blade is blunt, it is simply replaced with a new reversible blade. However, there are also some interchangeable blades with more than one cutting edge, so that for the time being it only needs to be turned. Only when all cutting edges have been worked off, it will be replaced.
Mostly the blades are made of carbide (HW) and depending on the hardness they are suitable for a wide range of applications.
You will find reversible knives in the most common sizes, square or rectangular, as well as accessories such as screws and keys.
