Router Sleds

A slab flattening mill is a useful addition to the hand router. With it, uneven surfaces can be precisely face milled or planed and joined. Especially for small workshops with little space, who do not want to buy a jointer or thickness planer, a router sled is the ideal purchase. With it, you can quickly and easily dress solid wood (boards, tree slices, wooden planks) with your router.
The router sled is therefore an excellent alternative to traditional flattening with a roughing plane or planer and thicknessing machines.
