Acrylic glass / Plexiglas

Acrylic glass (also known under the brand name Plexiglas) should only be scored with a knife and then cut or sawn with a jigsaw (or even a handsaw) in exceptional cases. The best way to achieve a high quality of cut is to cut it with a circular saw and a suitable saw blade.

Circular saw blades for plastic glass of all kinds

Acrylic glass (also known under the brand name Plexiglas) should only be scored with a knife and then cut or sawn with a jigsaw (or even a handsaw) in exceptional cases. The best way to achieve a high quality of cut is to cut it with a circular saw and a suitable saw blade.

For sawing plastic glass of all kinds, you need a suitable saw blade. In this case, suitable means fine toothing and not bevelled. Such a circular saw blade can then be used to saw acrylic glass, double-webbed sheets and similar materials.

You will find saw blades that meet these requirements here in our usual high quality for the table saw, plunge cut saw and the hand-held circular saw.

Please note that the correct speed of the circular saw also plays a role in successful cutting and should be determined by trial cuts.
