"The Reds" are named for their characteristic red Perma-Shield® coating, this significantly reduces friction during sawing and thus prevents heat deformation of the circular saw blade. Besides that, it protects the saw blades from corrosion and reduces resin buildup.

The special shape of the tooth shoulder reduces the risk of kickbacks.

Freud circular saw blades are made of high quality steel. The basic bodies are laser-cut, with specially manufactured carbide teeth equipped and finely balanced. This guarantees highest precision, which leads to best cutting results.
