Properties & Advantages

Forged by hand for an improved material structure.
Only high-carbon steels are used for the blades.
Heat-treated in a salt bath for a hardness of approx. 61 Rockwell.
Hardened over the entire usable length of the blade.
Polished, groove-free surface for smooth cutting and easy plunging.
Blade with side bevels to facilitate work close to the edge.
For a razor-sharp finish, the cutting edge should be honed before first use.Blades should be wiped with an oil cloth after use to prevent corrosion.
The 2-component handle is flattened to prevent the tool from rolling off the table.
The impact-resistant plastic handle with rubberised inserts fits comfortably in the hand.
Ideal for use on the assembly line, in the workshop and outdoors.
We recommend grinding a cutting edge angle of 28 - 30° for hard woods.
