The standard Z-axis travel of our machines has been designed for a good balance between rigidity and cutting capabilities. Knowing that the allowable Z-axis travel can be a limitation for some applications, we've developed this High Z upgrade kit to give you much more room to work. It's simple: if your material fits under the gantry, you can cut it completely (see diagram below). In addition to the new, larger workspace, you have more room to access your work during set-up, tool changes, etc.

Please note that the Evo High-Z kit slightly increases the flexibility of your machine gantry, which may affect the performance of your machine in terms of cutting speed and cutting depth (mainly for hard materials).
