The SlabMatrix Router Sled combines solid wood processing and modern furniture construction techniques. The high-quality sauter SlabMatrix can be assembled and disassembled in minutes. The SlabMatrix Router Sled is available in three versions:

SlabMatrix Basic: With the entry-level model, you get a router sled with a focus on face milling and slab flattening.
SlabMatrix Pro: The professional model with rails including a 32mm hole grid suitable for producing system furniture.
SlabMatrix Pro XL: The sled routing machine for large workpieces, shows its strengths with workpieces up to approx. 1.6 m wide.

Up to three classic woodworking applications can be carried out with one machine:

1. Slab flattening:

Raw solid wood planks are flattened with the SlabMatrix in no time at all. The sauter SlabMatrix is the alternative to a classic surface planer.

2. Pocket routing / Format routing:

Precise pockets and cut-outs are produced in just a few steps with the SlabMatrix Pro. Simply set start and stop pins, start routing, done! Also workpiece formatting is made quick and easy. Here, the workpiece is milled to the finished size The possibility of formatting sets the SlabMatrix from sauter apart from other manufacturers of router sleds, as the start and end points are can be precisley set with the help of a laser.

3. Create a precise rows of holes:

With the sauter Slab Matrix, a hole can be drilled precisely every 32 or 96 mm. The System 32 hole pattern is ofter used in modern furniture construction. Rows of holes make furniture more flexible to use and help to attach fittings and shelves quickly.
