With the patented TT-50 Truing Tool, you can quickly and easily make your grindstone exactly round and flat again if it's lost its shape. It's particularly important for your grindstone to be completely round and flat when sharpening planer blades and plane irons.
The TT-50 Truing Tool fits all Tormek machines with a universal support. The truing tool works on all Tormek grinding wheels except for the diamond grinding wheels, which have a steel body. You'll damage both the tool and the grinding wheel if you use the truing tool on a diamond grinding wheel.

Precise setting of the cutting depth by means of the fine adjustment of the universal support.
The feed rate, between 30 and 90 seconds, selects the roughness of the grinding stone surface - the slower the feed rate, the finer the surface.
The surface is ALWAYS rougher than the coarse side of the SP-650 stone preparer.
Grinders without a universal support can be supplemented with the universal support US-105 (grinding discs with Ø 250 mm) or US-103 (grinding discs with Ø 200 mm).
Worn diamond cutting edges in the TT-50 turning and dressing tool can be replaced with the ADV-D replacement cutting edge for TT-50. Before replacing, the cutting edge can be turned once more - so it can be used for a few more passes.
