The Woodpeckers Rout-N-Plane Bench Top Board Mills are perfect for tasks that your thickness planer can't handle, such as end-grain cutting boards and glued-up panels wider than your planer. Both models accommodate stock thicknesses ranging from 19mm to 76mm. The original Rout-N-Plane can handle materials up to 380mm wide with most routers (note that routers with larger bases may have slightly reduced capacity). The XL version increases this capability to 610. Simply secure your cutting board to a flat surface, adjust the height of the Rout-N-Plane just above the board, and set your router to a shallow depth of cut. In just minutes, you'll have a perfectly flat board ready for finish sanding."
