Mitre Clamps - Angle Clamps

Bessey offers the MCX mitre clamping system, which can be used together with clamps of different types, such as screw clamps, lever clamps, one-hand clamps, to clamp right-angled and different mitre joints (22.5°, 30°, 45°, 60°). For light clamping work, even with workpieces of different thicknesses, theWS1 and WS3/WS6 angle clamps are designed to clamp the joint securely and quickly.
Angle clamps, such as those of our own brand sauter, allow workpieces to be clamped with normal clamps exactly at right angles to each other in order to glue, nail or screw the joint.
Problem of glude miter joints.
Mitred corner joints of solid wood are not very resilient because both components have end grain. Therefore, these joints are usually reinforced with dowels or in some other way. However, there is still the problem of clamping the joint in a suitable way during gluing.
There are various approaches to solving this problem: One can work with belt clamps or normal screw clamps and/or suitable allowances. Or you can use special angle clamps, which are also called angle clamps, mitre clamps or clamps. In layman's terms, the terms corner clamp or corner screw clamp are also used.
