    Drilling - Screws - Finished!

    To make such connections, you first drill diagonally into your first workpiece using the basic tool (the template) and a special drill with a stepped point. To connect it to a second workpiece you use self-tapping screws.

    What is Pocket Hole Joinery?

    Kreg Jigs are extremely fast, strong and easy to make. With the Pocket Hole Jigs any kind of wood can be joined. For furniture, picture frames, staircase or cabinets and cupboards. If necessary, the connection between the two workpieces can also be easily undone.

    Advantages of Pocket Hole Joinery

    • Incredibly fast - Projects produced with pocket hole drilling jigs can be completed much faster than traditional mortice and tenon or dowel joints. There is no need for complex calculations and measurements. 
    • Gluing is not absolutely necessary and clamping is not required as the screws are self-tapping and grip the wood.
    • Strong joints - In tests pocket joinery has proven to be at least 50% stonger than comparable mortice and tenon joints.
