When using a router motor in a router table one must change the bit from above using one or two wrenches depending on the model of motor. This can be an awkward and slow operation. But not any more!

With the sauter FM1000-OFL we've made history. Our patent-pending QuickGrip collet is the only quick release system designed to cope with the high loads and stresses place on a collet during operation. The moter and gripping systen are the result of a collaberation between sauter GmbH. and the world renound MAFELL company fron Oberndorf in Germany.

The sauter FM1000-OFL is an efficent, powerful but extremely quiet motor (71db) The collet is for 8mm shanks, and with a reducing sleeve or collet adapter all popular sizes of bit can be used.

THe sauter FM1000-OFL is also ideal with CNC routing machines where it demonstrates it's speed and ease of use.
