The band saw is the all-rounder in the wood workshop. Depending on the mounted band, it can be used for parallel cutting at the fence, sawing out a curved contour or even rough cutting.
Laguna bandsaws for the professional and the home user.
The 1412, 14BX and 18BX models from the manufacturer Laguna offer all the advantages you could want when buying a professional band saw. They differ in power (1,300 W, 1,900 W and 2,200 W) and in the size of the work tables. All models are equipped with a band saw blade. Furthermore, they have in common:
Industrial quality:
- Ceramic guides (less wear on the saw band and the guides themselves).
- Balanced cast iron rollers.
- Robust triangular frame
- Belt width 3 mm to 19 mm (31 mm on model 18BX)
- Maximum cutting height 305 mm to 410 mm depending on model.
- Maximum cutting width up to the column 350 mm up to 460 mm (depending on model)
- Large cast iron worktable (406 x 546 mm or 508 x 660 mm on model 18BX)
- Large aluminium parallel fence
- Dust brush on the lower roller.
Easy operation:
- Quick-release lever for band saw blade change.
- User-friendly adjustment of the throat height.
- Pivoting work table (-7° to +45°)
- Parallel fence reversible for high and flat workpieces (solid wood and wood-based panels)
- Mobile underframe (optional)
Safety:
