Payment and Taxes
From July 1, 2021, customers who purchase goods from a country that Member of the European Union You are required to pay the value-added tax rate that is levied in the country to which the goods are delivered. This means that, for example, a customer purchasing from Ireland must pay the Irish value-added tax rate of 23%. The prices you see in our shop all include the German value-added tax of 19%. However, at the checkout, the prices will automatically be adjusted to include the applicable rate for the respective country. If you are logged into your account on our website, all prices will change immediately to reflect the valid tax rate.
For deliveries to countries outside the EU will no value added tax chargedHowever, you may be liable for customs duties and value-added tax in the destination country. The customer is considered the importer and is obligated to pay the due amounts. These are usually collected by the shipping company (DHL, UPS, etc.), which forwards them to the relevant authority of the respective country. Certain processing fees may apply.
Orders from a country outside the EU with delivery to an EU country: If you have your goods delivered to an EU country, you must first pay the gross value of the goods including the applicable value-added tax. In the event of subsequent export to a country outside the EU, the value-added tax can be reclaimed at the border, and we will be happy to provide you with the necessary documents.
