Routers with Height Adjustment through the Table

ROUTER IN COMBINATION WITH INSERT PLATE

A manual router is used with an insert plate for stationary use on the router table. A router has many functions that a router motor does not offer:

• Fine height adjustment (if necessary from above through the router table).
• Plunge base with base plate for working with copying sleeves
• Integrated chip extraction
• routers with restart protection in the router table
• The restart protection is a protective device that prevents the router from being switched on unintentionally after a power interruption. Useful in manual operation, inconvenient for stationary use. On the router table, a safety switch usually simulates such a power interruption and becomes useless on routers with restart protection on the router table.

Trend

The T11 successor - the T14 has a height adjustment from above especially for router table use and is also controlled via an additional switch directly on the router table. The switch is plugged directly into one of the handles and replaces the safety switch. This switch bypasses the restart protection in conformity with the standard and still allows the use of a router at the router table.
