AIM = Active Injury Mitigation

Stops the saw blade within 5 milliseconds of contact.
Is triggered by contact with conductive material and the saw blade.
Examples:
- Human skin (hands!)
- Metal (aluminium, brass,...)
- Wet, freshly cut wood
Trapped staples and nails do not release the cartridge.
Is urgently required when using DADO sets!
Very easy to fit: just push on, lock and continue.
Once the AIM cartridge has been released, it must be replaced. It is strongly recommended to replace saw blades, even if they show no visible damage!
Not compatible with Festool saws with SawStop technology.
