Vario-Bench multifunctional table
The Vario-Bench multifunctional table system developed by sauter is a multifunctional workbench based on a well thought-out worktop with drill holes (20 mm diameter). With the intelligent hole grid of the MDF board, not only all applications, such as clamping, sanding or mounting of workpieces, can be carried out comfortably. The special highlight of the perforated board is the sawing to the exact degree at any desired angle, thanks to the bench hooks in combination with the guide rails from Festool or Makita.

Multifunctional table with perforated plate
More and more woodworkers are installing multifunctional tables in their workshops to enable as many different applications as possible when working, but often it is also a question of space. That's why the Vario-Bench from sauter is just the thing. Multifunctional tables are characterized by the fact that woodworkers can saw, mill, sand, plane, and much more on one table at the same time.
First and foremost is the issue of angle-accurate sawing. By attaching a guide rail to the marked positions, you can saw at precise angles in no time with a plunge saw or mill with a router. We also offer milling templates and bench hooks for DIY multifunction tables.
The concept of the vario-bench is to allow the cutting of materials to any angle required quickly and easily. There is no need to recalibrate for new angles. Just by moving the pins and guide rails precise cutting is possible in seconds.

- Large, easy to read text reduces the possibility of errors.
- No calibration needed.

- Frequently used angles such as 45° of 90° can be set simultaneously so only the guide rail needs to be moved
- No Plastic parts that can break or distort.
- The metal bench pins are precision milled for a perfect fit.
- The metal pins are double ended, each end has a slightly different size to allow for slight swelling or contracting of the bench due to humidity.
- All parts of the Vario-Bench can be purchased separately , allowing the woodworker compltet flexabilty to construct the bench as the need.
- The bench itself is extreamly stable allowing it to be used between two tressels if necessary alowing complete portability.
At first glance they look very similar, but there are big differences. The Vario-Bench offers far more possibilities, the Festool has holes primarily to use to fix the workpiece to the bench. Guide rails must be callibrated to get the correct angles. Whith the Vario-Bench this is not needed.
