With the new gear clamp, clamping work is possible even in the tightest of spaces. This is made possible because the spindle has been separated from the handle and placed around the rail. From starting there, with each turn the clamping force is transmitted to the spindle via a mechanism hidden in the sliding bracket. Compared to classical screw clamps or one-handed clamps, the Gear clamp much more compact.
