In carpentry work, larger wood cross-sections usually need to be sawn than in the carpenter's workshop. This requires high motor power. On the other hand, the weight must not be too high to work without fatigue. Finally, when used on the go, one should be as independent as possible from the stationary power supply through the use of battery technology.
Fulfilling these three requirements at the same time requires compromises, which Mafell masterfully resolves (from which, of course, other trades also benefit). The program ranges from the handy yet powerful K55CC to the MKS185, which boasts a unique cutting depth of 185 mm.
