Features & benefits
- The resin and hardener set comes in the correct mixing ratio of 100:40 (it is best to weigh the resin and hardener with the scales).
- Mixing cups, stirring rods and brushes are included in the starter set.
- The epoxy resin is UV-resistant and is suitable, for example, for making scantlings for woodturning or snack and serving boards.
- Suitable for colouring with a maximum of 10% colour paste, pigment or concentrate.
- Temperature resistant up to 70 °C.
- The silicone brush is reusable.
- Important: Potting volume and layer thickness are interdependent. The thicker the layer, the smaller the mixing volume must be!
- An ambient temperature above 20 °C can cause the mixture to boil and lead to boiling bubbles, stress cracks and discolouration!
- For scantlings with a layer thickness of 1 mm - 4 cm, the maximum casting volume is 250 g.
- For cutting boards with a layer thickness of 1 mm - 2.8 cm, the maximum casting volume is 2.8 kg for a layer thickness of 2.8 cm and 10 kg for a layer thickness of 1 cm.
- Processing instructions: The objects to be embedded must be clean and free of dust, oil and grease. The moisture content of the wood must be below 13%.
