Harvey GYRO AIR G-700 extraction system
A revolutionary wood dust extraction system
Due to the fundamental contradiction between dust-laden airflow and filtration, conventional dust collectors struggle with clogged filters or poor air quality. Most dust extractors are very noisy, bulky and difficult to maintain. This is a long-standing problem for woodworkers.
To solve this problem, a team of Harvey engineers spent over 7 years researching and studying to develop an unprecedented dust collector, the Gyro Air® G-700 wood dust collector. The Gyro Air® G-700 wood dust collector features a unique, patented technology that separates and captures dust particles from the air before they enter the filters.
The G-700 utilises new axial centrifugation technology (called Gyro Air® technology) to spin the air/dust stream at up to 4,000 rpm and create super powerful centrifugal force (more than 100 times the force of gravity) to separate the dust from the air and capture it in two dust bins hidden within the unit.

- Double-cone separation chamber: Slowing down of large particles for gravitational ejection.
- Axial centrifugation separation chamber (Gyro Air®): The dust particle stream is forced into special aerodynamic channels that generate a high centrifugal velocity.

- Secondary Gyro Air separation: 99.7% of the small dust particles are separated by the strong centrifugal force and pushed into the dust container.

- Quiet: Thanks to GYRO AIR® technology and its aerodynamic design, the G-700 GRYO AIR® operates at an incredibly low noise level of 61 to 72 dB(A).
- Extremely clean emission: The air purity of the filters achieves an unbeatable value of 0.05 mg/m3 (50% better than the European standard of 0.1 mg/m3).
- Convenient, tool-free cleaning of the dust container: The two dust containers are closed when in use, but are easily accessible through a flap on the side of the appliance. They can be rolled out for easy emptying (and you can use disposal bags to collect the wood chips).
