- Hardened teeth for outstanding cutting performance and unmatched fatigue resistance.
- General information on selecting a band saw blade:
- The wider the band saw blade (within your saw's limits), the longer the service life.
- The narrower the blade, the easier it is to cut small radii (scroll blade).
- Tooth pitch 2, 3 and 4 tpi for coarser cuts and thicker material.
- Tooth pitch 4, 6 and 8 tpi for longitudinal and cross-cuts; best balance between cleanliness and cutting speed.
- Tooth pitch 10 and 14 tpi for fine and clean cuts, for thin or soft material (e.g., also plywood cuts).
- Tooth form Regular: 0° tooth angle; clean, smooth cut; universal design.
- Tooth form Skip: very long tooth gullet, appears as if a tooth is 'missing'; 0° tooth angle; less aggressive entry into the cut; for rough, fast work.
