In cooperation with DUPONT, a special carbide was developed to facilitate the machining of solid surface materials and to ensure rational and precise machining of the panels to to make this possible. The unique rounded (soft shape) cutting edge on the milling cutters for solid surface materials prevents the formation of stress cracks. All Titmann Corian milling cutters have a shoulder on Shankone side to accommodate a thrust bearing with locking ring.
