Features & benefits
- Forged by hand for an improved material structure.
- Only high-carbon steels are used for the blades
- Heat-treated in a salt bath for a hardness of approx. 61 Rockwell.
- Hardened over the entire usable length of the blades.
- Polished, score-free surfaces for smooth cutting and easy plunging.
- Blades with side bevels to facilitate work close to the edge.
- For a razor-sharp finish, the cutting edges should be honed before first use. Blades should be wiped with an oil cloth after use to prevent corrosion.
- The 2-K handles are flattened so that the tools cannot roll off the table.
- The impact-resistant plastic handles guarantee long-lasting enjoyment of the chisels.
- The handles with rubberised inserts lie comfortably in the hand.
- Ideal for use on the assembly line, in the workshop and outdoors.
- Cutting angle of 25° and therefore ideal for soft to medium-hard woods.
- For hard woods, we recommend sanding a cutting edge angle of 28 - 30°.
