Features & benefits
- Forged by hand for an improved material structure .
- Only high-carbon steels are used for the blades.
- Heat-treated in a salt bath for a hardness of approx. 61 Rockwell.
- Hardened over the entire usable length of the blade (approx. 2/3).
- Polished, groove-free surface for smooth cutting and easy plunging.
- Bevelled blade for dovetail joints and other fine work.
- Shorter design allows for more controlled tool guidance.
- Blades should be wiped with an oil cloth after use to prevent corrosion
- Red beech handles with ergonomic design.
- The wooden handle comes with an oil finish for a pleasant feel (not varnished!).
- Cutting angle of 25° and therefore ideal for soft to medium-hard woods.
- For hard woods, we recommend grinding a cutting edge angle of 28 - 30°.
- Scoring knife for precise scoring on all wood surfaces.
- Prisma-like blade shape enables use for both left and right-handed users.
