Unique handles made from discarded skateboard decks. Each handle is unique!
When a woodworker and skateboard enthusiast ("2ndlife") glues together discarded skateboard decks and turns them into blanks for chisel handles, it sounds strange at first. But the result is absolutely unique and worth seeing! Two Cherries has taken on this unusual idea and donated the blades to these extraordinary notebooks.

Features & benefits
- Hand-forged blade for improved material structure.
- Only high-carbon steels are used for the blade.
- Heat-treated in a salt bath for a hardness of approx. 61 Rockwell.
- Hardened over the entire usable length of the blade (approx. 2/3).
- Polished, groove-free surface for smooth cutting and easy plunging.
- Blade with side bevels to facilitate work close to the edge.
- For a razor-sharp finish, the cutting edge should be honed before first use.
- Blade should be wiped with an oil cloth after use to prevent corrosion.
- The handle is glued and turned from discarded skateboard decks.
- Each handle is unique in its striped design.
- The handle comes with an oil finish for a pleasant feel (not varnished!).
- "Upcycling deluxe!" → Thanks to the raw material for the handles, new, sustainable notebooks are created.
- Cutting angle of 25° and therefore ideal for soft to medium-hard woods.
- For hard woods, we recommend grinding a cutting angle of 28 - 30°.
- Note: Wooden handle is without ferrule on the hammer knob. However, gentle driving with the mallet is possible.
- A matching leather blade guard is included.
