FencePRO introduces EVA feathers, a breakthrough in featherboard performance and safety. Each FencePRO kit includes two individual fence featherboards that can be stacked with the provided 57 mm (2 1/4”) T-bolt. With a 100 mm (4”) travel slot, FencePRO is designed for versatile positioning.
EVA feathers virtually eliminate kickback, offering superior safety over traditional plastic feathers. The slight flexibility of EVA, paired with our patented living hinge design, pinches the board against the table and absorbs kickback forces if the board moves backward.
EVA feathers provide exceptional infeed and outfeed control, promoting smoother, cleaner cuts. As pressure is applied, the feathers lie flat, creating greater surface contact to securely hold the wood against the table, minimizing movement and delivering firm, controlled feeding even under high tension.
EVA feathers absorb vibrations, significantly reducing chatter and ensuring cleaner cuts without marring soft woods. Unlike plastic feathers, EVA feathers won’t shatter upon accidental contact with a blade or router bit, eliminating the risk of dangerous projectiles. They also avoid damage to carbide-tipped cutters. If worn, EVA feathers are replaceable and reversible for extended use.
Made from high-density closed-cell EVA, these feathers are optimized for woodworking with a unique blend for durability. Precision-cut using water jet technology, they are non-absorbent, will not bleed color, and can be safely used without triggering saw safety systems like SawStop.
