Installed in place of the viewing window, it enables splinter-free cutting on the right side of the saw blade. When the machine operates, the splinter guard adjusts to fit the saw blade perfectly by cutting into the inserted guard. It can be moved up or down, making it ideal for use with or without a guide rail.
