Precise fine adjustment and 60 mm plane blade in premium quality
The Pinie Plane has a plane blade with chip breaker and is used for smoothing and dressing work.The planing blade lies at an angle of 45° in the planing bed. The plane body is made of solid red beech, the sole of the plane made of tough hornbeam. This is glued on with teeth and thus counteracts warping of the plane.The plane iron is adjusted by a fine adjustment mechanism and fixed with a clamping screw. For the rear hand a stable handle is glued on.During development, special attention is paid to the ergonomics of the planes. This ensures fatigue-free working.The plane iron in our pine planes is from the premium range of the Czech manufacturer. It has a hardness of 60 Rockwell.
