Properties & Advantages

Forged by hand for an improved material structure
Only high-carbon steels are used for the blades.
Heat-treated in a salt bath for a hardness of approx. 61 Rockwell.
Hardened over the entire usable length of the blade (approx. 2/3).
Polished, groove-free surface for smooth cutting and easy plunging.
Bevelled blade for dovetail joints and other fine work.
Shorter design allows for more controlled tool guidance.
Blades should be wiped with an oil cloth after use to prevent corrosion
Red beech handles with ergonomic design.
The wooden handle comes with an oil finish for a pleasant feel (not varnished!).
Cutting angle of 25° and therefore ideal for soft to medium-hard woods.
For hard woods, we recommend grinding a cutting edge angle of 28 - 30°.
Scoring knife for precise scoring on all wood surfaces.
Prisma-like blade shape enables use for both left and right-handed users.
Blade from sustainable Circle of Tools" production.
