The history of Bauer & Böcker begins in 1932 in Remscheid when Robert Böcker founded the company and initially manufactured roller skates and vulcanizing machines. Later, the focus shifted to tools, before the founding of Bauer Magnettechnik by his grandson Karl Bauer in 1982 created a business field that would decisively shape the further development of the company.
In 2009, the various company divisions were merged under Bauer & Böcker. An important transformation took place in the family business in 2014 when traditional tool manufacturing was reorganized in favor of the development of modern technologies. In particular, LED lights and magnet technology became the focal points. This combination of long-standing manufacturing experience, modern lighting technology, and flexible magnetic mounting solutions continues to shape the work lights of Bauer & Böcker to this day.
