The history of Titebond
The parent company of Titebond, Franklin International, was founded in 1935 and offered an innovative solution for bonding wood: One of the first glues that could be used straight from the container. In 1951, the first Titebond glue came on the market. The still family-owned company has since steadily expanded its range, often with new, groundbreaking solutions.

Crucial for the load-bearing capacity and durability of a wood joint is not only constructive factors and possibly used fasteners but also the suitability and quality of the adhesive or glue used. With Titebond wood glues, you don't have to worry in this regard: The glue joint is stronger than the wood of the bonded workpieces.
For special purposes, there are fast-setting adhesives (Titebond Speed Set or Titebond Quick & Thick) as well as a glue with longer open time (Titebond Extend), a veneer glue (Titebond Cold Press Veneer), and a liquid hide glue (Titebond Liquid Hide) for reversible bonding and furniture restorations.
