Router Table Inserts
For the installation of the router in a self-built routing table, there is no way around a suitable insert plate. In recent years, aluminium insert plates have become the preferred choice, as they are more scratch-resistant, stable and dimensionally stable compared to plastic.
We offer a variety of insert plates, which are already pre-drilled to fit the most common routers.

Correct attachment of the router
When constructing a routing table yourself, it is essential to keep the attachment for the router clean. First the mounting plate must be prepared. The router is used for this purpose under the plate. If there are no holes in the plate, these must still be drilled. Then you can start building the board into the routing table. Two to three Screws are usually sufficient for correct attachment of the router.
This allows the router to be quickly and easily removed from the self-built routing table so that it can be used as a mobile hand router again. If you build your own routing table, you can it is important to carefully reline the router mounting plate in the rebate of the table surface until the plate surface is exactly flat with the surface of the router table.
