This Dozuki features genuine rip teeth (18 TPI) — the Japanese term for this is Hozohiki. It is designed for fine rip cuts on dovetails, tenon faces, and much more.
A solid brass spine guides the thin blade with precision. The saw blade has a rounded end (→ distinguishing feature from the crosscut version!).
