Temple Tool’s Japanese saws are characterised by their excellent value for money. The blades of a Japanese saw are usually very thin, as the tooth geometry is designed for cutting under tension. The kerfs are correspondingly finer and the cutting forces required are considerably lower.

What are the advantages of the Japanese saw?
- The saw blade cuts on the pull stroke and is therefore much finer
- Pull saws are very easy to control
- The pulling motion prevents the saw blade from bending
- The razor-sharp Japanese tooth pattern produces a smooth cut without splinters or tear-outs
