The predecessor company of HECO was founded in 1888 by the inventor and entrepreneur Karl Hettich in Schramberg. This eventually led to the furniture fittings manufacturer Hettich in the 20th century and the screw-specialized company HECO since 1967. Today, it is known for a range of innovative products and a very extensive range of screws of all kinds.
