When doing carpentry work, larger wood cross-sections usually need to be cut compared to a carpentry workshop. This requires high motor power. On the other hand, the weight should not be too high in order to work without fatigue. Finally, when used on the go, it is important to be as independent as possible from stationary power supply by using battery technology.
Fulfilling these three requirements at the same time requires compromises, which are masterfully solved by Mafell (from which, of course, other trades also benefit). The range extends from the handy but powerful K55CC to the MKS185, which features a unique cutting depth of 185 mm.
All circular saws from the manufacturer can of course be used with the in-house guide rails, which are available in different lengths and also in a flexible design (rollable for easier transport).
