Saw blades for every application
We offer Freud saw blades for both stationary and non-stationary machines. Saw blades are available in various sizes for both types of machines, including universal blades as well as those specifically designed for Hardwood or softwood, but also especially for Light and non-ferrous metals, Fiber cement, plastics and coated material panels.

Routers of outstanding quality
Freud also manufactures high-quality milling tools for routers. The quality (i.e. service life and durability) is ensured by the same factors as with the saw blades: high-quality steel for the main bodies, cutting edges made of carbide produced in-house, and for many cutters, the red Perma-Shield® coating.
The routers are available in diameters of 8 mm and 12 mm. The program includes all common types of router cutters from the face routers up to dovetail cutters, but also routers for special tasks (e.g. handle moulding cutters) and reversible blades for router cutters.

Freud manufactures its products from high-quality steels, which are equipped with cutting edges made of their own developed and manufactured carbide. With this TiCo carbide (titanium-cobalt-tungsten carbide), the company holds a unique position: No other manufacturer of cutting tools in the world uses its own carbide.
To increase the lifespan of the tools, the cutting edges are attached to the base body with a special three-layer soldering. The base bodies are also coated to prevent corrosion and resin build-up. Additionally, the coating reduces friction and thus prevents excessive heating of the tool, which could otherwise lead to deformations. This Perma-Shield® coating is easily recognizable by its signal red color. However, Freud also uses another proprietary coating technology for some saw blades: The ICE-Silver coating provides improved sliding properties and has a corrosion-resistant effect.
