Joining technology for furniture and fixtures
Some - positive-locking - wooden connections can be loaded without further fasteners if the work is done precisely (but usually only in one direction). However, such connections are usually additionally secured. In carpentry and joinery, wood glue plays a major role. Many wood joints are only secured with glue. However, glued joints are often additionally secured with other fasteners (screws, nails, dowels). However, material-locking connections such as gluing have the disadvantage that they are usually not detachable (whether with or without additional securing by screws, dowels or the like).
Detachable connections
If it is to be possible to undo the connection afterwards, one will do without adhesives and above all resort to screws of all kinds. In addition to the classic wooden dowels in different variations (round dowels, flat dowels, "Dominos"), we offer a wide range of screws and RAMPA threaded inserts as well as a variety of specialised furniture connectors (Lamello connectors, wedge connectors, DOMINO furniture connectors and worktop connectors).
Fasteners for router table construction
A special role is played by the fasteners that are often used in the construction of router tables and fixtures for woodworking. Here, it is less about the invisible or aesthetically pleasing connection of individual components as in furniture construction, but rather about the functional and easily detachable or adjustable connection of individual elements. We offer everything in the way of fastening technology that is necessary for fixture construction and for the construction of router tables: in addition to the various aluminium profile rails, the most important things to mention here are clamping levers and locking screws as well as t-slot nuts and bolts.
