Cast Iron F-Clamps
In addition to Bessey, you will also find our own sauter Cast Iron F-Clamps. We are convinced that no workshop should be without Cast Iron F-Clamps - see for yourself.
Cast Iron F-Clamps are characterized by a high degree of clamping force and robustness. When drilling or grinding small workpieces, the clamp can significantly increase the distance between hand and machine.
The classic cast iron F-clamp is suitable for many clamping jobs due to their practical design and can be found in every workshop. We recommend the clamp for the following applications:
For clamping operations with high vibration levels, e.g. when used on the router table, cast iron F-clamps are not suitable. In this case we recommend practical lever clamps.
The classic cast iron F-clamp is suitable for many clamping jobs due to their practical design and can be found in every workshop. The standard screw clamp consists of:
The mobile clamp is moved along a rail, to set the desired clamping width. Due to the rigid clamping method, cast iron F-clamps are used for fastening wooden materials and for simple gluing work.
A high-quality cast iron screw clamp can be recognised by its pleasant handling. Another indication of a high-quality clamp is that parts can be replaced. A high-quality cast iron clamp also transfers the built-up force optimally to the workpiece.
The intended use of a cast iron screw clamp cannot be clearly limited. We recommend the cast iron clamp for every project where clamping, pressing or clamping is required.
The cast iron screw clamp can be used for a wide range of materials, such as wood, plastic and metal. A screw clamp should not be used when machining as the vibrations will loosen the clamp. We recommend lever clamps for use in the machine area.
As a basic setup we recommend the widths:
However, yit will depend on your project.
