Applications of Cast Iron F-Clamps

The classic cast iron F-clamp is suitable for many clamping jobs due to their practical design and can be found in every workshop. We recommend the clamp for the following applications:

Bonding of glued wood panels, shelves, table tops, and much more
All bonding that requires a high contact pressure
Fixing of components

For clamping operations with high vibration levels, e.g. when used on the router table, cast iron F-clamps are not suitable. In this case we recommend practical lever clamps.

Components of Cast Iron F-clamps

The classic cast iron F-clamp is suitable for many clamping jobs due to their practical design and can be found in every workshop. The standard screw clamp consists of:

a rigid clamping bracket and
a mobile sliding clamp with spindle
