These auger bits made of tool steel are equipped with a round spiral groove, thread tip, main cutting edge and pre-taper. They are particularly suitable for deep hole drilling in softwood and due to their precise production also for bar dowel drilling. For drilling in hardwood we recommend auger bits hardwood, Famag series 1493.
The auger bits can be used in hand drills and joinery machines. For diameters under 24 mm they can also be used in powerful cordless screwdrivers.
