  The filters can be used until they are saturated and the wearer finds them uncomfortable, or until the activated carbon is used up and the wearer is able to use the Smell/taste of a harmful substance. The service life depends on the working environment, working methods and the type of dust sources. The filter performance remains constant at over 99.95 % during total use. The mask is durable. The lifetime depends on storage and care. All masks are supplied in an aluminium bag for storage to extend the life of the Activated carbon. Twice as much material is used in the manufacture of the fine dust filters as is usually the case with other series in order to extend the service life of the masks it is recommended to use the storage box (GV-SPM009) for half masks and the storage box (GV-SPM007) for full masks to to increase the service life.
